The current building is 60 years old and has deteriorated which has created a few challenges such as safety hazard, unattractive environment and limited space which hinders our ability to fully explore much of the various programs YAM offers. The new facilities will enable for much more programs to be facilitated effectively and the kept resources to be safe as we will have security & alarm systems installed. The building plan of the new YAM building will consist of facilities such as Wi-Fi area, kids’ playroom, seminar rooms, offices for the staff and volunteers, a 500-seater auditorium, library, bathrooms, boardroom, coffee shop and visitors sleeping rooms.
